Here’s SNL’s take on conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh facing an exodus of sponsors. Will they say a month from now that we witnessed life imitating art?
FOOTNOTE: There are tons of song parodies on You Tube if you do a search for Rush Limbaugh. Many are the ones he commissioned for his show.
And then there is one done some 20 years ago by radio show that did a song piecing together words Limbaugh said on his broadcast so it sounded like he was actually singing it. It is quite partisan and blunt with some images and languages we don’t use on TMV, plus it has the obligatory Nazi reference that partisans in both parties use against those with whom they disagree. We won’t embed it on TMV but if you’re curious GO HERE. The melody and voice work are superb and the lyrics are quite partisan.
