How upset was the Romney family over the second debate between President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential nominee former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney? The apparent answer: very.
And here are three signs.
First, there’s this photo of Romney during the debate, a Getty Images photo that is now showing up on blogs and news sites all over the Internet. It doesn’t show the face of a happy camper to say the least:
Second, there’s the CNN interview with a facial coding expert who said he knew Romney lost the debate because afterwards Ann Romney looked embittered:
And third — and perhaps most unfortunate and if you follow America’s long tradition of spirited political campaigns, shocking — this comment by Romney’s son and political confidante Tripp on how he felt hearing Obama call his father a liar:
“Well, you want to jump out of your seat and rush down to the debate stage and take a swing at him.”
Exactly what kind of message does that send to some of the nutcases out there. That’s important for prominent people to keep in mind since all nuts are not sold in bulk at your local Sprouts health food store…
