This is the 35th anniversary of the eruption of Mt St Helens. It is an event that those of us who were here will never forget.   I am thinking of my friend Connie Kaseweter Pullen who lost a dear brother that day – I lost a dear friend.  Connie and I got together when she googled  her brother Bob’s name and was directed  to my post on the 25th anniversary.  Some 30 years later Connie helped me through some tough times when I was the caregiver for my mother who was in home hospice and I will forever be grateful.   Life can work in strange ways.  After all these years I still remember my adventures with Bob but they were cut short by his death on Mt St Helens 35 years ago.  I can’t really add anything to the post I did on the 25th anniversary so here is a link:
