Barbara Doherty, the mother of Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL who was killed during the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi scolded Mitt Romney, telling WHDH-TV that she thought he was using her son’s death for political advantage. Barbara Doherty: “I don’t trust Romney. He shouldn’t make my son’s death part of his political agenda. It’s wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama.”
ABC News reports, Mitt Romney’s campaign said today he will stop citing his meeting with Doherty, who was killed last month along with Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith.
