Lucas Oil founder, Forrest Lucas, takes out a full-page ad in Thursday’s Indianapolis Star apologizing for his wife’s Facebook rant about being “sick and tired of minorities.” He said his wife, Charlotte Lucas, regrets her Facebook post disparaging minority groups and that her words were “harsh and insensitive.”
Here’s Charlotte Lucas’ offensive Facebook rant:
“I’m sick and tired of minorities running our country! As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think that atheists (minority), muslims (minority)n or any other minority group has the right to tell the majority of the people in the United States what they can and cannot do here. Is everyone so scared that they can’t fight back for what is right or wrong with this country?”
Forrest Lucas wrote the Facebook post did not “reflect the feelings in her heart.” He added, “Those who know Charlotte appreciate that she is a caring and loving person who has great respect for everyone.”
Gee, I wonder how many “minorities” work for Lucas Oil? The level of hypocrisy emanating from this woman is sickening.
