What could it possibly say about the Tea Party in Texas when they apparently consider Senator John Cornyn too liberal and want Louis Gohmert to run against him in the Republican primaries?

Apparently their main motivation is Cornyn’s refusal to support the idea of shutting down the government if Obamacare isn’t defunded.

Is their hatred of Obamacare that extreme? Do they cavalierly dismiss the idea that not even such a worthwhile goal can make a majority of Americans approve of a government shutdown so that the GOP won’t pay a political price if they push forward with the idea?

It would seem, though, that this idea is too wacky even for Gohmert.
