The image above is sixty miles into a one hundred ten mile bike ride I do from my home. It is was taken sitting on my bicycle in the Anzo Borrego desert. On this day a couple years ago it was over one hundred degrees out there. The top of the hills in the distance is the town of Julian at about five thousand feet. The decent back to sea level is the same.
Lots of time to think during a seven hour bike ride by yourself.

No doubt denial is an effective coping strategy but I prefer to embrace the difficulty of living truthfully. I accept the fact that I may be in the minority, will have a limited circle of friends and will make a bit less money.
However, I will have an deeply loyal family and kids that understand that their Dad is a good man.
I have never changed anybody’s mind on a blog so no worries about disagreeing with me.
I can’t vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.
