Something you rarely see from the professional corpse-humpers of the right:
Statement on coverage of Seth Rich murder investigation
Published May 23, 2017 Fox News
On May 16, a story was posted on the Fox News website on the investigation into the 2016 murder of DNC Staffer Seth Rich. The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.
We will continue to investigate this story and will provide updates as warranted.
That’s it. That is all you get for the Vince Foster corpse-humping, the Ambassador Chris Stevens et al corpse(s) gang-rape* and the rest.
[* Also known as the “Benghazi scandal.”]
Hilariously, last week, when Roger Ailes died, the SELFSAME corpse-humping corps were screeching about the terrible soulless horrible things that liberals (sorry, “libtards” and/or “leftists” both intentional slurs) were making in not genuflecting in front of the dead pachyderm.
The Death of Roger Ailes, as seen in GOP-O-Vision™
But soft. This is a NEW thing. For the first time in living memory, these vile slurs and using the dead to advance policies that the dead would never have advocated — well, they’re being pushed back against:
For many years I was the only voice speaking [on Memeorandum, at least] against these coordinated merchants of the slam and the slur and the smear and the slither.
The “elite” media simply ignored them. No one wanted to take them on, and once, when they decided that I was of use, they used my blog out of context two nights on Faux Nooz™ to a.) give Ann Coulter a “tu quoque” excuse for saying something monstrous, and b.) sell a crappy Ted Nugent CD while Little Theodore swam in his own crocodile tears about how “frightened” he was of me, the “ASSASSIN” (as the Faux Nooz™ chiron claimed) and mocking and belittling the late Alan Colmes, who made the mistake of using my correct words.
Nugent when he was more ‘respectable’
This is their M.O.: Attack and never defend. Use Scientology’s “Dead Agenting” techniques on all critics. Consider the truth a mere inconvenience.
You can’t have it both ways, except that they do, and it’s because nobody uis willing to fight back. Ironic that it takes a Russian scandal to focus our attention on our own Fifth Column (posing as the Fourth Estate).
From last year, when our news was nothing but Donald Trump
to the exclusion of all other national and world events.
And so, it’s nice to see that the shoe is on the other foot for a change. But see the crocodile tears flow when it’s one of THEIR heroes who’s being denigrated (arguably: justifiably, since being a monster is not negated by one’s living/dead status, and Ailes was arguably a monster).
A quick Google search today for “Ailes” and “liberals”
Evidently what’s disgusting and “sick” for the goose isn’t for the gander.
And, of course, “World Nut Daily” (note the “Newsmax” article at the bottom of the Google search above):
Chilling similarities between Seth Rich murder and ‘Clinton Body …
WorldNetDaily
The unsolved case of Democratic National Committee data analyst Seth Rich’s death shares some eerie similarities with many mysterious …
The folks who made money off both Vince Foster’s corpse (remember, Chris Ruddy, who runs NEWSMAX now, was being paid as the sole investigative journalist working on the Vince Foster “story” by Western Journalism, run by Joseph Farah, who spun off the profitable WND site FROM Western Journalism) AND birtherism have, naturally, found a new corpse to hump. For money.
And, finally, someone’s standing up to their bullsquash.
That’s significant. And, to this point, seemingly unremarked on.
The right wing fake news machine has not seen this before. Let’s see what serpentine dodges and sophistries they manufacture to combat this sudden influx of the truth.
Thus far, their attempts to “defend” Trump by the usual means have been, to be charitable, flaccid. This forms an even more vital core to their mission, and one wonders if the response will be any more vigorous.
Time will tell.
When are we going to get sick and tired of the slanderers suddenly becoming more delicate and fragile than your spinster Great Aunt Maizie who goes to mass every day and faints at the merest mention of any language as terrible as “damn”?
This endless, insane hypocrisy has to stop if we’re to have any chance at returning to a “UNITED” states of America. But it’s going to take the NON-propaganda media challenging monstrous lies like the fake “Seth Rich scandal” to do it.
So far, so good.
Courage.
UPDATE: The Washington Post today (May 24):
… The episode also demonstrated how fake news can be flung from fringe media to the mainstream. A conspiracy theory that began on pro-President Trump message boards — a theory that Rich was actually a mole who wanted to expose corruption at the DNC — was fed by Russian news outlets including RT and Sputnik. The Daily Mail, Fox News’s website and a number of other mainstream outlets with large audiences churned through false information and leading questions, sowing confusion that Rich’s family struggled to combat. In addition to Hannity, former House speaker Newt Gingrich on Sunday said on “Fox and Friends” that the story was worth investigating, a sentiment he repeated in a short interview with The Washington Post on Tuesday.
“I don’t know anything about it,” Gingrich* said. “I know exactly what has been said on the various blog sites .?.?. I think it is worth looking at.”
