The second Sarah Palin email dump, “e-mails Ms. Palin sent as governor, mostly using private accounts, you” is less than an hour away. The first, dated from January 2007 to September 24, 2008 that were copied to, directed to, or from Todd Palin and seven members of then Governor Sarah Palin’s staff, including Governor Palin, is available here.
Taking a page from the blogosphere, the MSM is preparing to parse the 24,199 pages of Sarah Palin’s government e-mails on Friday with the help of you, dear readers. NYTimes here. MSNBC will be live blogging them here. MSNBC, Mother Jones and ProPublica are working with Crivella West to create a publicly searchable database.
While we wait, in other Palin news…
Conservatives are upset that Margaret Thatcher won’t see Palin:
One Thatcher ally told the Guardian: “Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts.”
Sarah Palin the Movie has a distribution deal:
Steve Bannon announced this morning that his $1 million, two-hour opus on Sarah Palin’s political career will be distributed by AMC Theaters, the second largest theater chain in the U.S. with 5,325 screens. The Palin film will not be hitting all those screens, though, just those in 10 U.S. cities: Dallas, Denver, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Atlanta, Orange County, Phoenix, Houston, Indianapolis, and Kansas City for an as-of-yet determined run.
And several bloggers are noting that Palin’s NOT a campaign video, The American Spirit (Unfortunately Missed by the MSM), is made up almost entirely almost entirely of clips from major news networks.
