In the never-ending battle between Norm Coleman and Al Franken (see “It’s Coleman! No, It’s Franken. No, Wait…”), it’s now about 130 ballots from Minneapolis that have gone missing.
According to last night’s “Missing ballots stall Minnesota Senate recount,” a missing envelope containing about 130 ballots has now stalled the recount in the Minnesota’s U.S. Senate race.
These are the story’s highlights:
* About 130 ballots from Minneapolis are missing, city says
* Secretary of state says city has until December 16 to find the ballots
* Democrat Franken’s campaign: “Simply put, these ballots must be found”
* Incumbent GOP Sen. Coleman’s camp denies ballots are missing between incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman and Democrat Al Franken.
