If you think that Donald Trump is bad, then check out what some of his surrogates are doing.

From ABC News:

“Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich unleashed a tirade on Fox News host Megyn Kelly after she mentioned Donald Trump’s sexual accusers, saying she was “fascinated with sex.” … Kelly questioned if Trump were a “sexual predator” after mentioning an “Access Hollywood” tape from 2005 in which Trump was heard bragging about his ability to grope women because he was “a star.” “You cannot defend that statement,” Gingrich said. “I’m sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true.” Kelly then mentioned Trump’s accusers — whose accusations he has vehemently denied — and said “we have to cover that story sir.””

From CBS News:

“The uncomfortable back-and-forth began when Kelly asked Gingrich about Trump’s latest slow showing in national polls, including a Fox News poll. “They’re not nonpartisan outlets,” Gingrich challenged, before Kelly jumped in with: “Fox News? I don’t think so.””

From The Hill:

“Juanita Broaddrick, who accused Bill Clinton of rape in 1999 and has been actively speaking out during Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign this year, called Kelly “ugly as hell on the inside” in a tweet early Wednesday. And Paula Jones, who sued Bill Clinton for sexual assault in 1994, said Kelly doesn’t stand by all women and “hates Trump.” Jones also called Kelly a “nasty heifer” in a tweet that was later deleted.”

The above-mentioned Trump surrogates would have us to believe that a journalist isn’t supposed to ask questions about the misogyny of a man who is currently running for POTUS.

Megyn Kelly did nothing wrong by asking about Donald Trump’s behavior toward women.

Paula Jones called Kelly a heifer. Yet, it is Jones who is having a cow because Trump is losing in the polls. The same is true for Broaddrick and Gingrich. Instead of acknowledging a serious flaw in the person who is running for POTUS, they want focus on the person who isn’t running.

As a real heifer might say …

The nastiness coming from the political Right is disgusting. Sure, nastiness comes from the political Left at times, but it is the former nastiness that is currently on center stage.

Oh, wait. Instead of saying center stage, I should say center ring. After all, this year’s presidential contest is a circus.
