Todd Akin, who outraged women over legitimate rape comment, compared opponent Claire McCaskill to a dog, adviser Rick Tyler tweets she would be a "bullshitsu" if she were a dog.

Another Republican trying how little regard he has for women. Rick Tyler, an adviser to Senate candidate Todd Akin, (“legitimate rape”) tweeted that if Democratic “Sen. Claire McCaskill were a dog, she would be a “Bullshitsu.”

The comment comes after Todd Akin said at a fundraiser Saturday: “She goes to Washington, D.C., and it’s a little bit like, uh, you know, one of those dog, you know, ‘fetch,'” Akin said. She goes to D.C. “and gets all of these taxes and red tape and bureaucracy and executive orders and agencies and she brings all of this stuff and dumps it on us in Missouri…” Wow. Real classy of the GOP.

Nope. It’s called being civilized. Anyone can do coarse; it takes a brain to be contemptuous with civility. Churchill had that down pat and campaigns and all those connected with them should try to hold themselves to that standard. When they are simply coarse, we should call them on it.
