And, as he continues his impeachment-era partisanship, attempting to glorify al Qaeda's attack on Benghazi, that left four dead, he CONTINUES to be al Qaeda's greatest proponent and enabler in the U.S. Senate.

Back when I was debating in Texas, I became aware of a fascinating aspect of Southern Culture, of which I had not yet been aware: the ability of a good Southern politician to speak the most monstrous, batcrap crazy lunacy in that sort of Foghorn Leghorn charming manner that makes the unthinkable seem almost thinkable: Ah say Ah say Ah say….

Which was the first thought I had when I listened to the honeyed insanity of House Member on the Make Lindsey Graham as he ramrodded the Clinton Impeachment and then acted as a House Manager for the Kangaroo Court in the Senate. And he’s back to his old tricks:

Lindsey Graham To Place Hold On National Security Nominees Over Benghazi Attacks

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is threatening to place a hold on key administration national security nominations unless President Obama explains how the White House reacted to the Benghazi attacks and who “changed” the talking points used by U.N. ambassador Susan Rice during back-to-back appearances on the Sunday political talk shows in September.

Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, Graham insisted that …

First of all, aren’t there ANY other guests in Washington D.C. except for Lindsey Graham and his bosom buddy John McCrankypants?

These two irrelevant clowns appear more Sundays than not, t’would seem, and yet their actual influence in Washington D.C. has cratered ever since McCain’s disastrous Festival of Hate 2008 presidential campaign.

2008-great almost fake moments from campaign history

He was so concerned with making himself famous as a S. Carolina House member that he devoted himself to removing President Clinton from office for a blowjob while his Speaker was banging his secretary and Winkie Agent Callista on his Capitol desk. While al Qaeda was planning the 9-11 attacks.

You’ll be happy to know that these seditious vermin even made up an autographed picture (probably to sell to supporters) to commemorate their perfidy. Honest to gosh:

House Managers for the Impeachment-Autographed

The point being that as they pursued their toxic BS, attention was deflected, even though we’d already had the FIRST WTC bombing. [emphasis added]

Clinton started bombing suspected bin Laden sites on Aug. 20, 1998. Although Republicans accused him at the time of diverting attention away from his personal issues, it was Clinton in Aug, 1999, who first ordered the CIA to take out bin Laden….

The American public turned on most of the impeachment managers, but Lindsey Graham was able to pick up Strom Thurmond’s seat in the 2002 election, after the segregationist hypocrite’s death.

thurmond for pres 48

Thurmond ran against Harry Truman (D) and Tom Dewey (R) as a
“Segregati0nist” in 1948. Now they’re called “Republicans”

Appropriately enough.

Once in the Senate, Graham attached his lips to John McCain’s posterior, and there the two love-birds have remained ever since. And both were instrumental in the push for the War Crime invasion of Iraq, and CONTINUE to defend their crime.

And nothing has given al Qaeda more life or legitimacy than our misbegotten invasion.

Lindsey Graham, arguably, has been the Best Friend al Qaeda ever had in Congress.

And, as he continues his impeachment-era partisanship, attempting to glorify al Qaeda’s attack on Benghazi, that left four dead, he CONTINUES to be al Qaeda’s greatest proponent and enabler in the U.S. Senate.

Think about it: he has no problem rationalizing the slaughter of children in Connecticut, of movie-goers in Aurora, Colorado, of the 18 gun deaths a DAY in the US since Sandy Hook, he somehow believes that four American deaths in a hostile foreign land rises to the level of a “crime” by the President (hopefully) that DEMANDS the paralysis of the Defense Department and the CIA, by failing to confirm their nominated new heads.

Here’s the actual “crowds” in that Baghdad Square in 2003

HOW could he aid al Qaeda any more, short of taking up arms himself?

Bravo, Mr. Graham. Al Qaeda has never had a better friend than you, with the possible exception of George Dubya and Dick-the-Face-Shooter.

Ah say Ah say Ah say….

Not my style of writing, Hart, but how frank, unabashed and — above all — true.

If this is what passes for intelligent political commentary in the United States, we’re doomed.

If this is what passes for an insult, I agree.

Thanks, Dorian. I wish that American politicians would recognize that their political enemies and their ACTUAL enemies are not the same thing, and not abet the latter in their thirst to trash the former.

So much for moderation at TMV.

Lindsey Graham is another utterly useless politician who would do the country a huge favor by retiring. I have even less use for him than I do John McCain. That people this despicable manage to retain power is testament to a screwed up system ($$$$$$$) and a stupid (think fencepost) electorate.

The writers are not and should not be required to be moderate.

I have the feeling Lindsey Graham won’t be happy until Mr. Obama admits he shot Christopher Stevens himself with his skeet gun with Hillary acting as lookout.

To bad Mr. Graham did not feel the need to investigate the government’s before and after handling of 09/11/01 so thoroughly.
