I’ve got nothing to add about Sarah Palin

But I’ll recommend one thing – before digging in to the avalanche of commentary, read all of Palin’s own explanation of why she’s stepping down.

Her speech is just more political incoherent crap. Who knows why she is resigning?

[“take government out of the dairy business”]. Uh right. The USDA is still in the “dairy” business Sarah, so all you did was cut the duplicity another republican created. Woa, toot that horn.

Her speech is somewhat more coherent written out than the way she delivered it, but she still did a very poor job of explaining her reasoning. It kind of reminded me of Bobby Jindal’s post-SOTU speech where it made more sense reading it than listening to it. All in all though it wasn’t even as good as Jindal’s, and that’s a pretty low standard.

With all due respect, I think it’s really odd that you put up a post to specifically ask us to “read all of Palin’s own explanation” for why she’s quitting the governor’s job, because it’s like you are underlining the fact that she gave no reasons. One can try to read between the crazy lines and theorize, but she really did not give any reasons. That, of course, is why people are speculating.

I say this because I have only just now, after reading your post, actually looked at Palin’s speech and read the transcript. It truly is the most incoherent, rambling, disconnected thing I have ever read. I don’t think that there is even one complete sentence in there. I don’t know what it was like to listen to it, but reading it is a bit like reading the ramblings of someone on an acid trip. Truly.

  • I have no comment on your nothing to add about Sarah Palin.

Looks like a case of trying to “dazzle them with BS”, which of course is a time tested political mainstay. In any case, it’s vintage Palin, and as such will seem rousing to a few… but not to most. I think she needs to cash in on her celebrity soon… before the iron cools.

Either that or I’m hopelessly cynical, and Sarah Palin is in fact the only true and real American left on the planet. 😉

“I have no comment on your nothing to add about Sarah Palin.”

    I do —

    1. Enough with the obscession on here with trivial subjects like her, Sanford, and Michael Jackson already! Why don’t the lefties prefer important or noteworthy subjects instead?

    2. You who are obscessed with these subjects (and taking such godawfully wrong positions about them) deserve to be subjected to a new 24-hour FOX show, “Real America,” hosted by Oliver North and Sarah Palin.
