Dixville Notch Votes Kasich, Sanders

Since 1968, the tiny town of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire has been correctly predicting the eventual Republican nominee and, sometimes, President of the United States. The town always draws the attention of candidates and the media every four years, as it is known for its famous midnight vote.

Dixville Notch has officially concluded their election, to kick off the New Hampshire primary. The Republican winner is John Kasich with three votes. Donald Trump came in second with two votes.

On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders won four votes while Hillary Clinton received none.

  • Well, this isnt a normal election and Dixville will be getting the Rep nominee wrong, which is too bad. I kinda like Kasich. He is the best option in the current batch.

And there you have it – game over. What will I do with all this popcorn?

If the Republicans have come to their senses and will nominate John Kasich as their candidate, there’s hope for the party and the nation.

Bernie got four out of nine votes (and only one registered Democrat) and Hillary zero? Maybe I’ll keep the popcorn.

Yeah, I’d keep the popcorn too. 😉

Popcorn necklaces with alternating red white and blue kernels would be nice gifts.

OMG, some signs of sanity in the Republican electorate. Showing support for the guy who can actually speak coherently. In the grand scheme of things probably won’t amount to much, but at this point even a whiff, a hint of signs that voters on the right aren’t all clamoring for the biggest idiots(Trump, Cruz, Carson) they can find is refreshing.
