I watched an hour of the McCain profile last night, then DVR’d both profiles which were repeated in the middle of the night, so I can watch them later. If you missed them, CNN offers snippets here. If the Obama profile is as balanced and competently produced as the McCain profile, then these are well worth your time.
I’m sure some people will accuse CNN of either going too easy or too skewed on either/both candidates, but it appears to me CNN did an excellent job of walking that fine line between good TV and objective journalism, not to mention adequately summarizing two life stories in 90 minutes each — or more like 60 minutes each, after you subtract the commercials. (Hell, for McCain, that’s not even a minute per year on average.)
