A new poll conducted by 60 Minutes and Vanity Fair finds that fully two-thirds of Americans supporting bringing the deficit down by taxing the rich:
But here’s a shocker: the percentages endorsing this approach seem to drop as the respondents’ incomes rise.
Jammie Wearing Fool — who apparently cannot stand the idea that Americans who are not rich support raising taxes on rich people, even if they predictably change their minds once they become rich (those who do) — announces that this poll cannot be trusted because… well, because the Vanity Fair editors misspelled the word “February” in the title of the article, saw the mistake, corrected it, but did not correct the slug, or whatever it is you have to fix so the incorrectly spelled word does not appear on the Memeorandum link.
