Our political Quote of the Day comes from a post on The Hill which details how many Republicans are blasting Republican political celebrity Sarah Palin for her comments criticizing Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign. It quotes a Republican strategist:
Republican strategist John Feehery, a contributor to The Hill’s Pundits blog, joined in the criticism on Monday.
“It was Abraham Lincoln who said that it is better to be silent and be thought a fool than it is to speak up and remove all doubt,” he told The Hill. “Palin, the more she speaks out on topics like this, the more she is removing all doubt.”
(We will refrain from comment..)
UPDATE: Sarah Palin is now getting consistent polling, according to Public Policy Polling, since “a majority of voters in every single state we have polled so far on the 2012 race has an unfavorable opinion of her.”
