A leader of the opposition (Eric Cantor) goes to visit a foreign country and in essence undermines a sitting administration and its Secretary of State. Another sign today all is fair in the name of partisanship. If you see an example as blatant as this — not just someone criticizing US policy from abroad but actually going to a foreign government – give the info in comments. If this had been a Democrat going this far during the Bush administration, don’t you think that Rush and conservative website would be in full rage throttle? But now something like foreign policy is sucked into the partisan rancor and power plays. A lot of international studies and political science profs will have to redo their lecture notes due to this one.
