Breaking: House Health Reform Bill Unveiled

From a Politico email alert:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled a health reform bill Thursday that would cost $894 billion over 10 years and includes a public option. It meets President Obama’s goal of not adding to the federal deficit, cutting the deficit by about $30 billion in the first 10 years.

And now it gets interesting.

I heard Pelosi and somene else, on the radio, a short time ago (and delight of the kids on the Stephanie Miller Show, which was carrying the broadcast).

Well, I told myself, at least the army marching through eastern Europe, killing people and destroying what they aren't taking back to the Fatherland (burning the villages, and so on) are on the move again.

That the Dems are once again in motion (and driven by the lib Dem House) is certainly newsworthy.

They're back on their feet and once again in motion.

Well, now we have a good idea what the House's bargaining stance will be like.

That it got the support of George Miller shows it's a legitimate lib Dem position.
