History has not been kind to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Except in the eyes of some die-hard conservatives, it’s clear she will go down as the living embodiment of the poor judgment of Arizona Sen. John McCain and his 2008 Presidential campaign advisors. She’s not considered a serious politico, but a specialist in pithy zingers, tweets, Facebook posts and getting big bucks money for being a political personality. And now there’s this item: it was party time in Alaska and the Palin family including Sarah were reportedly involved in a brawl that police are still investigating: [icopyright one button toolbar]
Former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family have been accused of starting a drunken brawl involving more than a dozen people this weekend.
Police are investigating a fight in South Anchorage, Alaska, which is said to have taken place at a birthday party for Sarah’s husband Todd.
According to witnesses the former Governor of Alaska’s three oldest children were all involved in the fighting, and Todd Palin walked away with a bloody nose.
That’s nothing. After her 2008 campaign performance, John McCain wound up with a political black eye. MORE:
According to witnesses the party had been held to celebrate several birthdays of former participants in the Iron Dog snowmobile race, including Todd Palin.
Several members of the Palin family, having arrived in a stretch Hummer limousine, allegedly stepped in when it was discovered that an former boyfriend of middle-daughter Willow, 20, was at the party.
Oldest son Track, 25, is said to have ripped his shirt off while making rude gestures to the young man, while his sister, and Dancing With The Stars alumni, Bristol, 23, attacked the host.
And how’s this for imagery for Palin and her family:
‘The owner of the house gets involved, and he probably wished he hadn’t. At this point, he’s up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests,’ Amanda Coyne wrote.
‘Word is that Bristol has a strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, “Don’t you know who I am!” ‘
Sounds like Moe Greene in The Godfather:
And more imagery:
‘As people were leaving in a cab, Track was seen on the street, shirtless, flipping people off, with Sarah right behind him, and Todd somewhere in the foreground, tending to his bloody nose.’
Flipping people off? Isn’t that in essence what Palin did to the McCain campaign when she ran in 2008?
According to The Daily Mail, none of the parties wanted to press charges. Will some now blame this on the “lamestream media?” You know, the same media that recently grieved two brave freelancers who were beheaded by ISIS?
You betcha.
