Dr. Ben Carson continues to spew venom to please the right wing extremists, AKA Tea Party, in the Republican Party. He now said that Obamacare is the worst thing to happen to America since slavery. Um, no mention of Jim Crow or the civil rights era.

“I have to tell you Obamacare is, really I think, the worst thing that’s happened in this nation since slavery,” Carson said during a speech at the Values Voter Summit on Friday.

In his fiery speech Carson went on to say that the healthcare law is making all Americans “subservient.”

Too bad he doesn’t recognize he’s allowing himself to be used as a tool for political ignorance. What is it with the right wing and the urge to continue to regurgitate slavery and the denigration of blacks during America’s darkest period?

Hey Ben Carson, here are a few more things I can think of that was pretty bad for America:

–John F. Kennedy’s assassination

–Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination

–Robert Kennedy’s assassination

–Denying blacks and women right to vote

–16th Street Baptist Church bombing

–Separate but equal laws

–Watergate

–Collapse of Lehman Brothers and 2008 financial crisis

–The Great Depression

–World Wars I & II

–Mass shootings including Newtown, Columbine, Fort Hood, Aurora movie theater, etc.

–Iraq War

–9/11 terrorist attacks

I could go on and on, but why bother. He fits in quite nicely with the wingnuts over at Fox News. His slave ancestors must be rolling over in their graves.
