Your tax dollars at work. And conservatives complain about Barack Obama playing golf on his off days (forgetting, by the way, that there are lots of photos of George W. Bush playing golf and, most assuredly, of other Presidents including Dwight Eisenhower)? Yesterday the Internet and cable political junkie shows were abuzz with the photo above taken of Arizona Sen. John McCain playing online poker on his iPhone during the extremely serious and potentially pivotal hearings on intervention in Syria.
In the way our politics works, I’m just WAITING to read someone defend McCain and say “He can multi-task!” McCain handled it with typical humor, noting that he lost. And it did show he can be engaged (in online poker).
