GOP HYPOCRISY:  The irony and racist of elements in the Republican Party came to bear this morning when the Dallas Morning News released a copy of Sen. Ted Cruz short-form birth certificate, showing he was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father. Same scenario as President Obama, who was born to an American mother and a Kenyan father. One stark difference, President Obama was born in Hawaii, while Cruz was born in Alberta, Canada. But, no outrage because Ted Cruz isn’t black or biracial.  If we apply the same standards as the right wing meted out to President Obama, Ted Cruz should be forced to produce his long-form birth certificate, passport records and college transcripts, if and when he launches a presidential campaign.
