SAN DIEGO — The stories are breaking fast and furious in the saga of San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, who is accused by a large number of prominent women of sexual harrassment. The latest update from the mainstream news media is that attorney Gloria Allred says that Filner’s accusers will grow to more than ten.
TMV has has been working tirelessly on this story. Some tidbits:
1. ADVICE TO SAN DIEGO WOMEN: If Bob Filner asks you what you want for Christmas, don’t say “Christmas goose.”
2. BREAKING: My sources tell me five mannequins from Nordstrom’s are to step forward with details of what happened when they encountered Mayor Bob Filner. (Hey, maybe my sources aren’t as good as Mark Sauer’s, but someone in this city has got to beat KPBS on this story…).
3. THIS JUST IN: I’m checking it out but there are some vague rumors about a statement of some kind from inflatable women from the X Street Bookstore.
4. AND NOW THIS: The San Onofre Nuclear Plant has a story to tell, too..
