Some years ago there was a lot of buzz when as fried foods came into disfavor in various media stories and then Kentucky Fried Chicken became known as “KFC.” Other saw a similar intent to make a more appealing brand when the International House of Pancakes became known far and wide as “IHOP” (which sounds like a frog explaining his daily things-to-do list).
But now we have a new example. Perhaps a first for a major political arty. The National Republican Congressional Committee has apparently scrubbed the actual word “Republican” from its website. This post on Daily Kos is being circulated now on some Facebook pages. Look for it to be a story with “legs”.
You’d think the word “Republican” would be in huge letters and plastered over the website’s front page. It isn’t.
So curious minds to have a reason to be…curious.
On the other hand, perhaps they’ve just been reading the same polls we’ve been linking to here on TMV.
