  1. I love how they point out that the small business owners making over $250k would be hurt. We know, they would pay more in taxes. Their businesses would be unaffected however. Don’t try to imply that because they own a business and manage to make over $250k/year that they are supposed to get a pass on their personal income taxes. And if you don’t want to pay taxes on the profit you’ve made and/or allocated to yourself, sink it into your business and take the write off. Its amazing to me how Republicans can simultaneously argue that median income earners in the $45k/yr range can get by just fine and/or should make salary concessions, especially if they are members of unions or public employees, while those making $250k need all the protection they can get. It’s arguments like these that make me convinced the GOP is made up of unthinking ditto heads.
