The Rightie blogswarm (the usual suspects) is back, pouncing on an Obama comment (which they truncate and retask meaningwise, surprise surprise!) And isn’t it AMAZING how all their headlines — these rugged individualists! — are exactly the same, their thoughts in lock-step, their talking points seemingly emanating from some unseen, invisible source. Let’s all be rugged individualists who think for themselves … together! (And you thought they were AGAINST collectivism. Well, they are, as a collective.)
“Obama: You Can’t Change Washington from the Inside” – is scandalous … because it doesn’t jibe with the past three decades of gridlock/reality?

There is no archiving of Memeorandum River that
I know about, so this screencap is all we have.
And, isn’t it amazing that, even though BuzzFeed and Politico have larger circulations than “The Washington Beacon,” the latter has all the “link mojo” and the latter two news organizations … DON’T?*
(* BuzzFeed is now run by a former Politico regular, Ben Smith, returning to his tabloid roots.)
I just want you to watch how these copycat individualists conspire together to drive the “news” in their direction.
Because it’s all but openly fascist, except that they offer NOTHING this year. It is ONLY about snark, belittlement, lying, telling you something with a straight face and then conveniently forgetting you ever said it. Example: Criticizing a President in Time of War is Tantamount to Treason. Compare and contrast with the selfsame douchebags (apologies to actual douchebags everywhere for the comparison) now ATTACKING the President in Time of War and a terrorist attack.
Cognitive dissonance? No: Cognitive dissidents.
How is it that these “rugged individualists” all have the same idea at the same time, link to the same article and have the same thoughts? And headline? And push their “take” to the top of the page?
Must be ESP.
Or Twitter.
Courage.
UPDATE: By 7:40 [EDT] they’ve been bounced down the page by Politico. Quod Erat Demonstrandum.
