  1. In a bit to take down Romney, the hopeless, hapless Perry throws his 5% towards Newt….which will be just enough to beat Mitt.

  2. Well, whatever happens, Texas politicians have shown the world that any dummy can become an Air Force pilot and State Governor, having produced two.

What amazes me most about Perry’s rejection speech, is that he describes conservatives in terms of Faith in God. How one can do that, and deceitfully turn his back on the poor and helpless people of this country, I cannot fathom.

  3. Allen, Jesus was a capitalist. We all know that.

  4. Allen. One can accept your position on Texas governors being stupid. Most politicians are stupid.

One can not accept your position that any dummy can become an Air force pilot.

You owe the Air Force pilots an apology.

  5. Gingrich has always been stronger as VP if he doesn’t beat Romney for the nomination and beats Obama (UNLIKELY). Perry may be doing this, who knows, just to get federal funds, or set himself up as Jeb Bush’s VP in 2016 or 2020, just try the nation-wide “waters”

  6. Hey, RP — try taking off from and better still, landing on a runway that’s moving.

Navy pilots will tell ya — Air Force, just jet jocks

(I wish all armed forces pilots, in a unified force ideally, had to spend time aboard carriers)

I respect the skills and professionalism of Navy pilots, but I believe there is some skill (and discipline and professionalism)in maneuvering an F-22 Raptor intercepting a Mig-31 Foxhound at a combined approach speed of 3,000 mph +.
