According to news sources tonight Hansen is projected to win 66 percent of the rather conservative Green Bay voters. John Nichols of the Nation magazine tells Ed Schultz, Republicans spent a significant amount of money and time to “target” Hansen.

The real motive for Republicans being ran as Democrats in last week’s Democratic primary are becoming clearer. Forbes Magazine told us on July 15 Democrats running unopposed would have made the general recall elections occur a month earlier. That month, Forbes said, allowed Republicans to quickly redistrict the state. Other sources have questioned the method the Republican state legislature used since redistricting is usually first approved locally then sent to the legislature for approval.
