The White House has just released the text of a controversial back-to-school speech that President Barack Obama will be making to our children tomorrow. The speech will be broadcast directly into the schools, mainlining into the minds of our vulnerable children in a brazen attempt to, in the guise of civics education, indoctrinate our young ones and to fill their little heads with communist propaganda.
No wonder parents were concerned and are planning to keep their children home tomorrow or at the very least not to sign those permission slips.
These are some of the controversial, Marxist, socialist, fascist ideas that Obama will be peddling tomorrow:
He will start innocently enough:
Hello everyone – how’s everybody doing today? I’m here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I’m glad you all could join us today.
Then, he will try to get sympathy from our children by telling them how, when he was young, his family lived in Indonesia for a few years, and his mother didn’t have the money to send him where all the American kids went to school, and Socialist stuff like that.
But then:
“I’m here today because I have something important to discuss with you. I’m here because I want to talk with you about your education and what’s expected of all of you in this new school year.” And about “responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.”
Then, worse, Big Government: “Your government’s responsibility for setting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’t getting the opportunities they deserve.”
He will talk about our children fulfilling their responsibilities, showing up in school, paying attention to teachers; listening to their parents, grandparents and other adults; and putting in the hard work it takes to succeed.
He’ll tell them that they can be anything they want to be as long as they are willing to work hard for it: a good writer, an innovator or an inventor.
He’ll tell them that they could even be a mayor or a Senator—a Democratic one, of course—or a Supreme Court Justice.
He’ll tell them how important an education is; he will tell them about those who quit school but bounced back and succeeded; that “the story of America isn’t about people who quit when things got tough. It’s about people who kept going, who tried harder, who loved their country too much to do anything less than their best.”
And such radical ideas as, “Here in America, you write your own destiny. You make your own future.”
As we knew he will be asking for contributions to his causes:
So today, I want to ask you, what’s your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve? What discoveries will you make? What will a president who comes here in twenty or fifty or one hundred years say about what all of you did for this country?
And he dares to conclude with:
So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.
Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.
Now that you have read it, you have to agree that this broadcast that uses taxpayer dollars to spread President Obama’s socialist ideology is nothing less than forced indoctrination. Worse, it is trying to create a personality cult like Kim Jong-Il and Saddam Hussein; this is something you’d expect to see in North Korea or in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq—not in the United States of America.
Parents from all political parties should be offended and outraged by this disrespect of parental authority and personal family values.
America, stop this madness, stop this president. Do the right thing. Tomorrow, keep your children out of school and take the whole family out for a great day of adventure and real learning. Better yet, starting tomorrow, take your children out of school and home school them for at least kindergarten through grade 12
