This series borrows and builds on lessons from various thinkers and writers. It is not an easy read, nor was it an easy write, as you might surmise from the time it took me to research and publish the five installments, starting in mid-May and wrapping up late last week.
The series has its limitations and imperfections; for every suggestion made therein, a dozen or more challenges could be raised. I openly embrace those challenges because, while the series may be complete, I know the debate is not. In fact, I think the healthiest thing for conservatives to do in the years ahead is engage in more debate about their principles rather than less — and I hope this series will contribute to the same.
