By now, all the political junkies who travel here know about Newt Gingrich’s comments on Meet the Press last Sunday. He suggested that citizens should be required to post bonds for health care costs and went on to call Paul Ryan’s Medicare voucher plan “right wing social engineering.”
Since then he’s been running away from those statements as fast as his mouth can carry him. But, in a Fox News interview he managed the ultimate in distancing himself from what he told David Gregory when he said,
“Any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood.”
