Shoot A Wall Street Executive For Charity

I hope to be able to provide video if they put it up on the web site but one of my favorite talk show teams is giving all of us a little stress release.

From their Press Release today:

Talk 650 KSTE morning show hosts Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty are tired of the financial injustice as the U.S. government awards multibillion-dollar companies with bailouts. This Thursday, they’re giving their listeners the chance to get even, inviting them to shoot paintball guns at a business CEO from 7am to 9am at Cal Expo in Lot A.

“We can’t actually shoot these people, so this is the next best thing,” said Joe Getty.

Good Day Sacramento’s Cody Starkwill be dressed as the unfortunate businessman.

Listeners will need to make a cash donation to area food banks to participate.

Maybe we could start a game called “freeze their assets and return them to taxpayers where they belong?”

Nobody gets hurt that way ; )

Shooting radio personalities might earn bigger bucks.

    Populism runs amok.

While the Wall Street CEO’s and such deserve no sympathy, I have to admit my grudging admiration (if that is the word, because I think disgust may be more like it) at the job Congress, with an assist from Obama’s pay cap hoopla, has done to deflect blame and attention away from the significant part they played causing this mess in the first place.
