Clickthrough for the details. It’s clear that Verizon’s Droids broke open the dam. The mobile platform now sizzles.
Me, I passed on the HTC Droid Eris (it was darned close but a slower chip, lower res screen, & no GPU made it worth waiting). I broke down and bought another iPhone for the family. Our next contract is up in April; mine in August. By then I’m thinking it’s unlikely I’ll be buying a fourth iPhone.
I have the newest version of Windows mobile on a 3G Samsung Propel Pro and it is completely miserable. I am a professional executive user on a 3G ATT network. Functions are non-intuitive and clunky. Worst is the Internet Explore app.. No I;m wrong. The Windows Mobile version of Adobe PDF is the worst. (I think it is called Pixsel Viewer or something like that.) Virtually unusable.
