Donald Trump made 160+ posts on Truth Social Monday night between 7:09 p.m. and 11:57 p.m ET. Many were shares of the prior post, and they clogged the feed, but they were still rants.
For example, here he is electioneering for a candidate for office in Tennessee (one of several):
Technically, Truth Social is a private network and not subject to rules governing electioneering.
But Trump regularly makes policy announcements on Truth Social, which turns it into an official resource, which is prohibited from electioneering. The President can campaign from the White House, for example, but not use its resources.
Truth Social can’t be both.
Some posts are half-baked ideas (revoking executive orders that Joe Biden signed with an autopen) as well as self-promotion.
Then there are the racist posts.
It’s not a good sign when the President of the United States falls asleep on camera after a night of shit-posting.
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.
