Did you ever think a racoon would be so bold that it would walk up to a bunch of cats eating catfood and just partake of the meal? Or that the cats would show their species’ notorious curiosity by standing around, seemingly fascinated but not terrified of this strange in their midst? Watch the video below — and you’ll see just that. It’s fascinating:
FOOTNOTE: I’m not surprised. I live in Rancho Penasquitos, CA and we have a racoon that regularly visits out dumpster. It is HUGE. The other day it stood there looking at me. I didn’t want to get close to it, but it kept walking towards me. Maybe it thought I had food. It took a while to shoo it away (it was blocking the path to my stairway). But he/she is there regularly. Quite courageous. Quite beautiful and — quite brave about looking for food. And quite brave — as is the racoon in this vide.
