Rasmussen published new poll results: Schwarzenegger continues to lead in the race for governor of California, now with 49% vs. 40% that is “a single-point improvement in the incumbent’s favor since last month’s poll.”
More:
Nearly one-quarter of voters (24%) report “very favorable opinions of the governor, while only 10% say they feel the same about Angelides. At the other end of the continuum, 25% have “very unfavorable opinions of Angelides. Eighteen percent (18%) say the same of Schwarzenegger.
Twenty-three percent (23%) of voters say they “strongly approve of both Gov. Schwarzenegger and President Bush’s job performances. The similarities end, though, when it comes to the numbers of those dissatisfied with their respective administrations: 47% “strongly disapprove of the president and 22% say the same of Schwarzenegger.
It seems that he’ll keep his promise: he will be back.
I’m a little disappointed with your take on this. I think the people totally lacking in morals and ethics are politicians (like Craig) who hide who they really are and in the process essentially lie to their constituants. Especially given the Republican “strategy” of using homosexual orientation to divide the electorate for the purposes of attaining or keeping a public office. It’s downright despicable (IMHO).
Chip R. -> wrong thread. Anyway: if you read my posts more often, you would know that I strongly oppose the uberpartisan culture in the US.
This is not just uberpartisan, this is way beyond even that.
It seems like it would take a lot of screwing up on Arnold’s part in order to overcome the celebrity factor.
