
The New York Times reports that Hawaii has been ‘shaken’ by an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3. ‘with at least a dozen aftershocks’, one of them measured 5.8. Logically “the quakes immediately set off fears of a tsunami.” However, ‘the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a report saying that “no tsunami is expectedâ€? as a result of the quakes.’
