Question Mark Over Indo-US Nuke Agreement ?

One of India’s leading columnist and former Ambassador G. Parthasarathy thinks so.

“A blame game has started in the US, with no dearth of media and non-proliferation pundits stating that it was because the US confined itself to a ‘slap on the wrist’ for India after its 1998 nuclear tests that others like Pyongyang and Tehran have been emboldened to seek the acquisition of nuclear weapons.

“With President Bush and the Republican party already on the run because of Iraq and domestic scandals, it is doubtful if President Bush would be able to persuade the US Congress to pass legislation that conforms to the July 2005 Indo-US Agreement.”

The ‘bubbled head blondes’ that call themselves newcasters forget that these countries had Nuke programs since the 1970′s. PDRK weapons program is a joke. The India/Pakistan relationship is a bigger worry to the non-blondes.
