Saw your comment, but didn't understand why you called me out on this one. That someone gets arrested and is held without bail is not unusual. Nor is it unusual not to issue a press release while rounding up other suspects, co-conspirators.
If you're implying that she doesn't have a lawyer or hasn't been charged or is being held in violation of her Habeas Corpus rights, ala Padilla, I didn't find those things anywhere in the article. She was arrested by the FBI which is part of the civilian criminal justice system. There's nothing in the story one way or the other, but until I hear differently I'm assuming she was read her rights and has an attorney. The FBI is generally pretty professional about that. And, the determination to set, or hold without, bail is generally made by a court, so I will assume, until I hear differently, that she has had at least one court appearance.
Btw, I've been pretty vocal about Obama not rolling back some of the infringements of citizens rights. Don't put me in a category of defending him on that front…please.

Seriously, my gratitude to those who dealt with her. It would have been pretty damn awful to see anti-secular insanity creep up and harm a fellow Swede.
Also, the plan if executed would have turned us away from other important matters. She might be incredibly Caucasian, but had she succeeded the right-wing anti-Islam Sweden Democrats would have gotten a big boost for the elections, probably.
She is the perfect example of why ethnic profiling doesn't work very well.

You are already in my “reasonable” category, can't get much better.
However, a quibble point. We know the crotch bomber, who is a non-citizen, was Carmenized in 50 minutes after he was in custody and it was widely publicized. This woman, an American, we don't know what happened. I have no problem with that, if they are rolling up co-conspirators, or whatever. I just hope the FBI, or whomever, is more “intelligence” oriented for the next bomber.

The Sweden Democrats' party leader tried to pass off a muslim-smearing editorial filled with inaccuracies or unverified scare-statistics in a newspaper, and when people started to wonder why he would bother to make things up about another group of people the regular puppies crowded comments sections and tried the old “So you are ALL part of the establishment but us REAL Swedes are gonna kick you out you are endagnering oaur ecountry an our valuesl and you are just papolitically correct socailissts!”-screaming until the cows came home.
That's pretty much how the SD operates – they feed on fear, and if you aren't willing to klaxon along with them then you are, of course, just another part of the feminist-taxes-gay-lesbian-non-figurative art-muslim-ecofascist-leftist-illuminati conspiracy to kill all virile, classical, hard-working European young men.
