Dear God, say it ain’t so. I don’t know which is worse, the Pres. saying that Jeb would be a “great president” or stating that his best memory of his presidency was catching a big ole’ fish. Two presidents with the last name Bush is more then enough for one lifetime….

  3. BrianOfAtlanta says:

True, Harry. Funny thing is, I think Jeb might have made a better president. In no way do I want to test that theory, though. I’ve seen enough of the Bush clan. Give somebody else the reins.

Wow, I think I agree with BrianOfAtlanta. Awesome. It does seem like Jeb would have been the better of the two, but it is time to move on. I admit that this is also my general take on a Hillary Clinton bid, meaning I think it is time to move to some other family. The idea of a robust democracy lead by Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-Bush or Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-Clinton is almost absurd.

I think this is important. With his low self esteem and life long history of failure, the president is reaching out to his family instead of engaing in a rebellion against daddy, he is trying to say I love you.

We should encourage this. I have written him a letter.

    Dear Junior:

I am so pleased that you are being nice to your little brother, it goes a long way towards mitigating the mean stuff you used to do.

The thing is that it doesn’t have to be a wish, you can make it a reality. Just ask Uncle Dick to resign and appoint Jeb to his job. Then you resign. I’m sure even the congress people who are hostile towards you will be supportive if you tell them what you’re doing.

And it would be so nice. It would be sharing. Something that I think you’ve always found it hard to do. And you could spend all your time telling stories about the big fish you caught. I think you do this very well. No matter what some people say there’s something you’re good at.

    And remember I wuv you.

    BIG HUGS!!!!

    - your friend
