…why is he asking for a new trial? Answer: he didn’t understand the American system BEFORE (probably before he learned where he’d spend the rest of his life..)

Moussaoui is living proof this country needs a criminal stupidity statute.
He had an attorney well able and, I’m sure, willing to explain the system at every step in the proceedings.
