Valerie Plame And Iran
Well, it’s been revealed that everybody’s favorite not-so-covert CIA agent was also working on the Iran problem when she was outed three years ago.
Should this mean jail time for Rove? And has this damaged our intelligence capabilities?
I have some thoughts here.

Where’s the evidence of this? We have the word of Raw Story, a ragsheet with all the credibility of The Weekly World News and one reporter with a tenuous relationship to honesty.
It’s certainly possible that Plame was working on Iran issues, and the chances of her being somehow crucial to our counterproliferation efforts there are slim at best.
Before breaking out the rope, it’s best to have all the facts…
Someone really needs to look at The Washington Note, becuase Mr. Clemons does have an entry in his blog about this issue. It was dated 13 February 2006.
This is not a new story, but one where the MSM sort of brushes the bloggers with disdain to cover other really important stories – sort of like rearranging chairs on the Hindenberg or the shoot accident by the VP Cheney.
Granted facts need to trickle in. Granted some investigation needs to be done. However, this needs to be pushed to the front burner to see if there really is any truth to the story.

Thanks Justin, I was just about to mention–Jay, it was on MSNBC too. I no longer have to ask if anyone can cooberate that MSNBC actually broadcasted as RawStory reported.
And honestly, Raw isn’t much removed from Drudge on the other side of the asile. And goodness knows Drudge gets lots of hits.
