Well this definitely cuts against the grain. Oxblog’s David Adesnik, a moderate Republican now says he regrets his vote in the 2004 election. “Bottom line, there is no question that I have egg on my face. How could I endorse a candidate whose values are so diametrically opposed to my own?”
Unlike virtually every other blogger in his position, however, he’s talking about Kerry.
Worth a read.
Ok so he regrets it, like voting for Bush would have made him feel better now?
That’s the most pathetic thing about the 2004 election. Kerry by himself is pretty much a tool. However, compared to the tool already in the White House, he was the more rational of the two choices. Hopefully in 2008 we won’t have a replay of having to pick between dumb and dumber.
David shouldn’t feel so bad. Think of all those people who voted for Bob Dole.
what short memories. the GOP was against liberation before they were for it. I remember how the ignored Appartied. Lugar and McCain are the only Republicans I recall going against the party line on that. Of course those people had nothing to offer. No oil or anything like that.
I see.
Adesnik would rather have a prtesident who p[lunges the nation into the worst deficits in its history, lies through his teeth after subverting the nation’s intelligencew services into political tools and has empployed, in positions affecting the rights and securities of the people of the United States, the most number of coinvicted felons of any administartion in our nation’s more than 200 years.
The kood-aide drinkers are worse than the lotus-eaters.
“David shouldn’t feel so bad. Think of all those people who voted for Bob Dole.”
Whats wrong with Bob Dole? I voted for Clinton, but I didn’t vomit in my mouth when I thought of Dole like I do when I think of Bush. Dole has my respect, and is an honourable man that I could have even seen myself voting for, which I could never bring myself to do for Bush.
And I say this even after his viagra commericals.
