“Privatize social security and put it all in the stock market” is not only inaccurate, it's a contradiction in terms. Privatizing means taking such decisions out of the government's hands.

Besides the term “all in the stock market” is a huge error, as all of the plans I've seen limited the amount of money placed into private control at 1 to 2% of wages, retaining the balance of FICA taxes for the traditional social security funds.
