A Palin-Beck Ticket in 2012?

beck_palin_limbaugh.jpg

Palin reportedly doesn’t rule it out, although it was an idea prompted by Newsmax.com…

Now, that would REALLY expand the GOP’s existing base, and attract moderate Democrats, independent voters, moderate Republicans and Latino voters. If he’s not available, why use the same approach to expand the GOP’s base by inviting Rush Limbaugh? Actually a ticket like this would make sense: Palin is the quintessential politician who reflects the current talk radio political culture in addressing issues and characterizing those who may disagree.

FOOTNOTE: The Palin story seems to be dominating the news cycle on weblogs and in political columns. Go HERE. Andrew Sullivan has even had his site “go dark” for only the second time in 10 years as he and his other two bloggers concentrate on the Palin book and story.

    Oh Joe, forever the humorist.

More than likely we’ll see Palin in a reality show, Beck in the drunk tank, and, Limbaugh dead with a radio microphone up the kazoo.

Kind of ironic that the post immediately above this one talks about the lowering of the political bar, when some nutcases pray for God to kill Obama. But Limbaugh dead with a radio microphone up the kazoo? Way to raise that bar a bit and sanitize the sewer Father_Time.

  3. Frith_Ra says:

I agree, jchem, that the bar should be raised, I'm just not entirely convinced that a thread about Palin is the place to do it.

Yeah, yeah! Palin-Beck 2012…that's the ticket—and Limbaugh for Secretary of State or Defense

  5. davemartin7777 says:

Any vote for Sarah Palin is a wasted vote and a vote that would have gone to an actually electable neo-fascist, Reich-wing Repubitug.

Btw, why don't Sarah Palin's handlers allow her to appear on “Meet the Press” or “Face the Nation”?

Because she'll babble like a clueless high school beauty queen off script?

  6. joeinhell says:

Well, if the democratic/republicans decide to run Beck and Palin, then the republican/democrats can run Lieberman and Limbaugh. What a joke american politics is. What is really needed is a second party.

  7. Father_Time says:

It's just a prediction jchem. Not “sewer material”. No point in getting all holy on us over it.

    So go mother somebody else.

  8. DLS says:

As usual, more revealing is the nature of the hatred for Beck and Palin — the real, truly sick, story here.

  9. Leonidas says:

Don't matter to me, have my heart set on voting for the Cynthia McKinney/Nancy Pelosi ticket.
