It's a figure of speech FT. In any case, neither of us knows whether there is a god or not - nor does anyone else here (whether they can be honest with themselves about it or not). There's a reason why they call it faith. This isn't to say there aren't many godlike attributes humans are capable of employing (when they decide to step up to the plate), or that we aren't capable of experiencing love, wonder and amazement that can knock us off our feet, and it certainly doesn't mean we don't exist in a godlike creation, i.e. this planet, and the universe, etc. - an environment that contains all the realtime heaven and hell anyone could ask for - especially when you factor in the human imagination. Anyway, as I said, thank god for music. ;-)

I honestly believe that there is a heart of gold beneath FT's grouchy demeanor, and that he is just auditioning for a role in this Christmas' Bah Humbug play.
