Monty Python DVR Alert

For anyone who is, like me, a Monty Python fan, this is a DVR alert.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the legendary group and over on the Independent Film Channel they will be airing a 6 part documentary which will offer a look at the best of the best and the story behind the story.

It starts this Sunday the 18th and continues all week.

So get those DVR’s set and put the Spam on the stove !

Until then enjoy a couple classics.

Too funny! My Monty Python argument argument was removed. Now I know what John Cleese and Eric Idle felt like when their best work failed to make it past the censors. :>)

Austin - Actually, I posted it in a very argumentative 'Monty Pythonish' fashion.

Someone (most assuredly not Patrick as he's a Python aficionado) must have misread my comment as an attack on Patrick. Considering the topic of the thread I viewed it as most appropriate (and funny)... in a Dead Parrot sort of way.

EDIT: As the 'dropped comment' glitch seems to have been fixed my comments may seem repetitive but then again they sound that way occasionally even without the luxury of being able to blame the software. AND yes... I really do like the Dead Parrot routine.

It's true. SteveK's comment that I saw last night, linking to the Argument Clinic is gone this morning. My only guess is that the language he used to set up the link was personal-attack sounding, as it was Steve's bit to set up the sketch.

Perhaps our moderator (censor) is getting a wee bit overzealous!

Austin, I don't think it was a TMV moderator... more likely it was a system glitch. Patrick's good humored reply tells me he knew I wasn't selling him a Dead Parrot.

Actualy, I think dr. e is the TMV moderator, and handles all of that. DISQUS, as far as I know, does not have an automatic censor. If it did, it would more likely prevent the post from even occurring.

Austin, dr.e is not what's happening here... trust me. BUT the lack of response to my email to TMV and the non-response to comments in this thread from "the moderators" (plural not singular) does say something.
