Here’s the video of President Barack Obama’s appearance last night with CBS’ David Letterman:

Meanwhile, the New York Times reports that the Obama appearance coincides with Letterman deciding that he will do more politically oriented humor now.

Letterman is still on? Amazing since he stopped being funny 20 years ago. Back then he was actually good like John Stewart is now. I can watch Stewart and Colbert anytime and laugh hard, after 2 minutes of Letterman I just feel sorry, like watching some washed up boxer try to make a comeback and embarrass himself.

It's pretty pathetic to take the road show for health care "reform" onto the teevee circus-circuit. Talking-head Sunday shows, exploited already by the politicians? Okay, but Letterman? [sigh]
